When I first joined twitter, I was mostly just lurking. Fast forward to when DefenderOfBasic showed up on my timeline. He eventually encouraged me to post more and publishing more on the internet in general.

I'm always happy to discover new writers like All About Berlin who comment on culture. I'm glad that there are still responsible citizens out there who carefully observe the social spaces around them.

Ethan Chlebowski taught me to think about cooking in terms of frameworks rather than recipes. Instead of memorizing individual dishes, he breaks cooking down into transferable principles that make it easier to improvise and adapt meals to whatever ingredients you have available.
